Turf Moor

Visiting as an away fan was a bit like stepping back 20-30 years when attending this classic stadium. With friendly staff and decent views, it should undoubtedly be on your list when in Burnley. But go soon as grounds like this will no longer be here in years to come. As a supporter of a club with a (reasonably) new stadium, Leicester City, I still nevertheless enjoy visiting historic and traditional grounds like Turf Moor. The away seating is old-fashioned but is spacious and affords a reasonable view of the action.

The staff and stewards are friendly and there is always a good atmosphere. My only gripe is there are nowhere near enough toilets in the away block. A shame a little of the Sky millions haven't been spent addressing this. This is football as it should be, a football club and ground that's true to its roots and traditions. Visited for hospitality as a neutral supporter and had a fantastic time. From the initial walk into the ground, we had a great feel about things and were absorbing the match day build-up even though it was 3hrs to kick off. The initial greeting was great, the reception staff very pleasant and helpful, and had a great time talking football with Jim Thomson whilst waiting to go to our lounge. The lounge was brilliant, with good food, nice service, and great company making new friends.

The private seating area outside the lounge was an ideal place to watch with good views of teams from the tunnel and game. A lovely stadium and experience that has not been spoiled by the vast monies poured into the premier league creating stadiums elsewhere with no feeling. It's a great ground where there's always a good atmosphere. Pies are worth the visit as well as the premier league football. Try the béné & hot a small shot of bénédictine watered down with hot water. Turf moor is a wonderful place, the staff are very helpful and will do all they can to sort out any issues. It's set in a good place just away from the town centre. We Visited here with my friend Shane, we travelled here from Wales. Very happy experience. We used company cab services as it is efficient and the most reliable of all.

We travelled with different cab services providers before but that tour was and will be memorable and enjoyable with [company ] cabs. The company cab drivers are highly professional and well trained. always appear on time and riding with them gives you a business class feel. My friend was coming to meet me after 2 years as he lives in Newyork and I wanted to give him a classy ride. The cab arrived at the airport on time. After meeting up with him we decided to go to Turf Moor stadium which is very famous in the UK. Turf Moor is one of your traditional, older stadiums in the Premier League, it has been home to Burnley since 1883, and as I recall it is one of the oldest football stadiums in the Premier League, older than Goodison Park and Anfield yet a few years later than Stamford Bridge.
